Jawaharlal Nehru Government College
The institution was established as the first college in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. While the college has only recently begun operations, the infrastructure is ordinary. The library is quite well-stocked with all the books and journals that we can access. The labs are equipped with all the tools and the anatomical specimens needed for study. All the necessary books are available at the library.

The Mahatma Gandhi Government College was established in 1992 at Car Nicobar and moved to Mayabunder in 1994. It is a prestigious institution in the Middle and North Andaman district. Andaman Law College in Port Blair is a well regarded university in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It is a prestigious law school. BCI is in charge of policing it. This institution offers 1 UG programme. There is only one course offered under the Law degree. Only the B.A. LL.B. course is offered for Undergraduate studies.
